MONTVILLE - The Barn Theatre continues its 76th Season with Stephen Sondheim and George Furth's witty musical comedy, "Company." With direction by Larry Wilbur (of Wayne), "Company" features musical direction by Clifford Parrish (of Bernardsville) and choreography by Billy Brisley (of Whippany).

"Company" follows the story of Bobby, a confirmed bachelor who is turning 35, and his ten coupled friends (and three girlfriends), who each have "advice" or "a plan" to get this eligible bachelor off the market for good. Winner of six

Tony Awards, this sophisticated Stephen Sondheim/George Furth musical takes a witty and sometimes cynical look at love, relationships, family and the age-old question of marriage vs. staying single. "Company" features a brilliant energetic score containing some of Stephen Sondheim's best-known songs, including "Being Alive", "The Ladies Who Lunch" and "Another Hundred People."

The 14-person cast of The Barn Theatre's production of "Company" stars Brian Marshall (of Succasunna) as Bobby and features (alphabetically): Jeff Dopson (of Garfield) as Paul;

D'Angelique Grecco (of Garfield) as Kathy; Cindy Jung (of Basking Ridge) as Marta; Doug McLaughlin (of Morristown) as David; Claudia Metz (of Boonton) as Sarah;, Tom Morrisey (of Hopatcong) as Peter; Shannon Murray (of Belleville) as Jenny; Darlene Rich (of Middlesex) as Joanne; Lawrence Sanders (of Clifton) as Larry; Tom Schopper (of Bloomingdale) as Harry; Danielle Shepard (of Somerset) as April; Kathy Smizer (of Dover) as Amy; and Elissa Strell (of Bloomfield) as Susan.
