	Morris Schools Compete in Regional Band Competition


	Denville - Morris Hills held the annual Northern Regional USSBA Marching Band Competition, on Sunday October 6, 2002. There were 16 bands total with a had a crowd of nearly 2000. The competition was for the Northern Jersey

Regional division of the United States Scholastic Band Association (USSBA). Bands are divided into groups based on their size and ability. Group 1, 2, 3,4 and the largest Group 5. Class Open Class bands are the best of that groups size. Each band is competiting and progressing in score and skill to Compete at the USSBA Finals Championship held throughout November. Over 200 H.S. marching bands will participate in USSBA Finals this year. (top) Parsippany H.S. Drum Major directs the field. (above) Morris Knolls competes.

The winners in each division were :
Group One Open class : The Montville H.S. Marching Band,

Group Two A Class bands : Parsippany Hills H.S.,
Group Two Open Class : Morris Knolls H.S..

Group Three Open Class: West Orange H.S. ,

Group Four Open Class : Immaculate H.S. and

Group Five Open Class : Pensaukin H.S.
