MONTVILLE, N.J.  Established in 1928, The Barn Theatre is one  of New Jersey's oldest continuously operating community theatres, providing  dramatic, comedic and musical theatre entertainment to the Morris County area for 75 seasons.

The Barn Theatre opens its 75th Anniversary  Season with "Arsenic and Old Lace", the audience-pleasing, comedy classic about two charming and innocent old ladies who populate their  cellar with the remains of their "socially and religiously acceptable"  rooming-house tenants. A host of hilarious colorful characters includes the  ladies' three nephews: Teddy, who believes he is Teddy Roosevelt; Jonathan, who is a serial killer; and Mortimer, the drama critic who hates the theatre. Shake  them all up and you have one of Broadway's funniest and favorite comedies and a  wonderful way to kick off the Barn's Diamond Jubilee Season. "Arsenic and Old Lace" runs September 13 through September 28, 2002 -- show times are 8:00pm on Fridays and Saturdays and 3:00pm on Sundays. Ticket price  is $15; tickets for senior citizens and students are $14 on Sunday performances only.
