As part of its ongoing commitment to support the arts in  Morris County, and as an outreach to young and aspiring theatre lovers, The

Barn Theatre has teamed up with the Boys & Girls Club to offer young people the opportunity to present their productions in a full-time, functioning theatre  setting.  This exciting partnership will also provide a unique opportunity for The Barn to offer mentoring possibilities to inspire Boys & Girls Club

participants to learn stage craft such as lighting, sound, set design/decor and costuming.
Beginning with the inaugural performances of "The Music Man" on August 2nd through 4th, 2002, the Boys & Girls Club will be presenting their musical productions

"The program has tripled in size  since its inception five summers ago and has expanded beyond just the summer  months," Iacovelli said.
Together, the Boys & Girls Club of Morris County and The Barn Theatre hope to encourage a life-long love of the theatre, whether as a profession or as a creative outlet, and to establish lasting ties  to the community and the new faces of our future.
