largest groups in the country attending the event that is themed "You Are the Salt of the Earth. You Are the Light of the World." Officials are expecting more than 200,000 to attend.

World Youth Day is organized to help teenagers and young adults learn about and affirm their Catholic faith through fellowship, religious workshops, communal prayer, social events, and attending Mass.
