MONTVILLE - Frank Loesser's timeless and classic American musical, "The
Most Happy Fella", will be presented at The Barn Theatre in Montville from May 17 through June 1, 2002 -- show times are 8:00pm on Fridays and Saturdays and 3:00pm on Sundays. Ticket price is $20; tickets for senior citizens and students are $19 on Sunday performances only. Jay Mills directs; Warren Helms is the Musical Director.
Set in the wine region of Napa Valley, California, "The Most Happy Fella" tells the heart-warming story of Tony, an aging, shy and self-deprecating Italian vineyard owner who falls in love with Rosabella, a San Francisco waitress with whom he so shy that

he can only bring up the courage to court and finally propose to by mail.
Afraid that she will reject him because of his age and appearance, Tony sends her a photograph of his young, handsome ranch foreman, Joe, instead of his own. Complications (along with a few twists)

ensue, but over time Rosabella learns to appreciate and
