Randolph - Bethlehem Church What do you get when you combine the recent water use restrictions with a bunch of ambitious youths who
need to raise money for their church group? You get that same bunch of kids holding a benefit dry car wash! (above)

RANDOLPH –
What do you get when you combine the recent water use restrictions with a bunch of ambitious youths who need to raise money for their church group? You get that same bunch of kids holding a benefit dry car wash!
Members of Bethlehem Church's Youth Ministry Group broke out their bottles of Windex, rolls of paper towels, vacuum cleaners and old rags to clean cars inside and out to help raise money so they
can go on a trip to Honduras to help the poor. They expected to wash more than 100 cars in the beautiful sunshine on Saturday, May 4.
There were two more pluses to this event - a car show with vehicles provided by church members and local car dealerships, and a generous area Dairy Queen store that donated coupons to car wash participants to receive a free ice cream cone. Dairy Queen in turn donated $1 for every redeemed coupon back to the fundraiser.
Great job everyone, and good luck in Honduras!
