Skating Classes For All Levels
at Mennen Arena

Morris Twp. - Whatever form of exercise you choose, it should be challenging enough to motivate further participation as well as fun enough to have a good time. Learning how to ice skate is just the activity that fits the bill.  (above left) Heather Schissler, of Flanders, keeps her balance as she skates over Beanie Babies and around the cones. MORRISTOWN - Whatever form of exercise you choose, it should be challenging enough to motivate further participation as well as fun enough to have a good time. Learning how to ice skate is just the activity that fits the bill.

If you want to start your preschooler on skates or if you're a senior citizen looking for a new activity, the Mennen Arena's Learn to Skate Program may be just what you're looking for. It's a standardized program offered throughout the world to increase both interest and participation in ice skating as a recreational sport.

The arena is a member of the Ice Skating Institute (ISI), an international trade association established in 1959 "to provide leadership, education and services to the ice skating industry." The credentials of the instructors include Olympic bronze, silver and gold medalists in figure skating and ice dancing as well as extensive team competition and professional skating experience.

Throughout the years, the Mennen Arena has received nationwide recognition for excellence in skating instruction. Using the success ratio of students and the number of students enrolled in the program as markers, the Learn to Skate Program has consistently been cited by the ISI as one of the top five ice skating programs in the country.
