New Jersey Cardinals beat the Lowell Spinners with a game-winning hit in the bottom of the ninth, 4-3, in front of 3,620 fans.
Seth Davidson came through with the game winner, a single to right field, scoring Matt Pearl with two outs to end the game. Pearl led the Cardinal offense, going 3-4 with two runs scored a stolen base and an RBI.
Pearl set the stage for Davidson, singling in the ninth and stealing second, followed by Davidson's game winner. Santos DeLosSantos had two hits and an RBI, and Jordon Robison was 2-4 to pace an eight hit Cardinal
attack. Righty Rhett Parrott, a ninth round selection out of Georgia Tech, made his professional debut on the mound, firing four innings of no-hit ball with five strikeouts. Closer Mike Meyer picked up the win in
relief, surrendering a run in the top of the ninth to even the score, 3-3, and recording the win with Davidson's game winner in the ninth
