Shedlock, Turton and Miller Lift DePasquale To The Top

Jefferson - They started as four friends playing softball, Now They Share a part of State History. On Thursday May 24, 2001 Jefferson's pitcher #26 Kristyn DePasquale's won her 100th game, breaking the New Jersey state record for most wins by a high school pitcher. At her side were teammates Jacqueline Shedlock; Becky Turton; and Coleen Miller; who also set a record of 100 wins. They started every game along with DePasquale since their freshman year. The win came when Jefferson hosted Nutley in North Jersey Section 2, Group 3 Quarterfinals, taking the victory 9-0.  (above right) Jefferson's pitcher #26 Kristyn DePasquale is mobbed by her teammates after winning her 100th game as a pitcher.
