On Thursday May 10, 2001 Jefferson played Randolph in the Semifinal round of the Morris County Tournament. Jefferson won 2-1 in the bottom of the 12th inning, setting themselves up to play Morris Knolls in the finals on Wednesday.

Jefferson pitcher Kristyn DePasquale delivers a pitch to Randolph in the Semifinals. DePasquale was the winning pitcher which brought her career record to 94 wins, 5 shy of the state record. She threw 12 innings giving up 6 hits and striking out 9 batters.
