2001 Holly Walk

Morristown - This past weekend the 2001 Holly Walk took place. The event included six historic locations to be viewed in a three day period. The locations were decorated as

they were for the holidays, each reflecting its place in history from 1770 to 1910. Acorn Hall; Fosterfields "The Willows"; Historic Speedwell's "Vail Mansion"; Macculloch Hall; Schuyler-Hamilton House; and Morristown National Historical Park's Ford Mansion at Washington's Headquarters all took part in this event. (left) On display at Mcculloch Hall are tree ornaments made by the 4th grade students in art class at the Assumption School, Morristown. Each year art teacher Barbara Silverstein, has the class participate in this project, where the decorations are modeled from ornaments of the mid 1800's.
