On Friday October 19, 2001 the Brundage Park Playhouse premiered a "For Kids By Kids" production of "Into The Woods junior". The play is directed by Jeffrey Fiorello and originated from James Lapine's book. The play will be performed Friday October 19th thru Sunday 21st and then on Friday October 26th at 8:00pm, Saturday October 27th at 2:00 and 8:00pm, and Sunday October 28th at 2:00pm. magical, imaginative adventure based upon the Grimm's classic fairy tales.
The plot is revealed to us by Michelle Wilson, the Narrator, who tells the story of the childless Baker and his Wife cursed by the wicked Witch. The Baker and his Wife go off into the woods in hopes of ridding themselves of the Witch's evil spell. While in the woods, they encounter Cinderella , Jack of the Bean Stalk fame, and his mother, Little Red Riding Hood, the Wolf, Rapunzel, a pair of Princes and other fairy tale characters.
