Wharton Canal Day

Wharton - On August 25th the town celebrated with the 26th Annual Canal Day and Festival held at Hugh Force Park. The day featured food, games, and crafts along with the walks, along the Morris Canal. (above) Bob Barth, President of the Canal Society of New Jersey. He is looking over the remains of a lock tenders house from the 1820's. (right) People walk around the Canal and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature.
