Chester Boro. -
On July 22, 2001 the Cooper Mill held a 1890s Music Day. They provided an afternoon concert of magical sounds reminiscent of a musical program performed during the 1890s. In addition to a fiddling performance, the audience had an opportunity to interact with the musicians by playing fiddlesticks and animating dancing stick puppets called"Limber Jacks". Clogging, a lively early-American folk dance combining Irish, African, and Native American steps that later inspired tap dancing, was also featured.

The Cooper Mill in Chester. The mill was originally built in 1826 by Nathan Cooper and has since been restored to give visitors an opportunity to rediscover the roots of that region. Massive 2,000-pound millstones grind grain into flour.
