And No

Bite

Mount Olive Twp. - After great anticipation it was good to see this storm pass us by leaving inches of snow instead of feet. (right) Motorists make their way along Route 46 in the Budd Lake section of Mount Olive.

The Storm That Wasn't

Mount Olive Twp. - The Tri-State Area was in a State of Emergency for much of Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. The area was expected to receive the worst snow storm since 1962, but luckily escaped with just a scare. (above) Omer Uludag, owner of the Amoco of Route 46 had a slow day pumping gas on Monday with the advisory not to travel the roads unless necessary. (right) Traffic was light for a Monday afternoon on Route 46. Although the snow fall was light the roads were still slick.
