Sales Tax relief in site

Rockaway Twp. - At a news conference at the Rockaway Town Square Mall on Friday December 15, 2000 Senator Anthony R. Bucco, 25th Legislative District unveiled legislation that would establish tax free shopping days in New Jersey. "This measure would suspend the state sales tax on retail items purchased by shoppers for December 10 through December 25 and during the week before New Jersey's children go back to school" said Bucco.
