	Denville - The Morris Knolls Golden Eagles Marching Band held its 25th anniversary Band Competition on Sunday October 29, 2000. The event had 9 schools in the competition. (top) Morris Hills Scarlet Knights Marching Band Drum Major Kris Feranti, during the awards ceremony. (left) Morris Knolls Brass & Rhythm section during their exhibition. In the back row are (l-r) Mike Wagoner, bass drum; Ed Newlands, trombone; Dan Siegelman, trumpet; and Jasveer Singh, trumpet. 			Denville - On Sunday October 29, 2000 Morris Knolls held their 25th annual band competition at Caruso Stadium. Nine bands braved the cold weather to compete in this event. (top) Lenape Valley H.S. Marching Patriots, perform their field show theme SPY. The Marching Patriots finished 2nd in Group 1. (above left) Brian Fleming and Hazel Atienza, of the Mount Olive Marching Band perform their theme CARMEN. The Marauders finished 3rd in Group 2. (above right) Members of the Chatham H.S. Marching Band, performing their show theme FANTASIA. Chatham finished 2nd in Group 2. (left) Drum Major Jessica Sartori, of the Glen Ridge H.S. Marching Band. Glen Ridge finished 1st in Group 1.
